The United States intends to send more military assistance and re-establish diplomatic relations with Ukraine as the conflict enters a new phase.
At a time when Russia is poised to start a new onslaught in Ukraine’s south and east, Secretary Antony Blinken & Defense Secretary David Austin made the trip to Kyiv in secret.
After meeting with Ukrainian Chairman Volodymyr Zelenskyy and some other officials in Kiev, U.S. officials reaffirmed their full support for the Ukrainian people’s effort. “Russian is failing” to accomplish its war objectives, according to Blinken, while Austin stated that the United States wants “to see Russia crippled” militarily so that it can not do it like invade its democracy neighbour.
